The MTB Group is a certified MOBIS vendor listed on
the GSA Schedule under five separate SIN's in the Professional Engineering
Services Schedule. Because MTB was awarded this contract, Government
agencies can be assured that all applicable procurement laws and regulations
have been applied, including the small-business set aside determination.
Federal agencies are also assured MTB has met all quality assurance
and financial responsibility checks.
MTB prices have been reviewed by GSA and have been
found to be fair and reasonable, representing the best value pricing
and lowest overall cost. The cost and time required to search for sources
is eliminated. MTB, through the GSA contract, provides professional
grade commercial services with state-of-the-art quality.
The Professional Engineering Services Schedule provides
you with experts that help you with most types of engineering tasks.
This schedule allows you to order one or more cycles of typical engineering
requirements such as design, integration, test and evaluation, integrated
logistics support, and acquisition and life cycle management.
MTB was awarded GSA Contract No. GS-10F-0162J in July 1999. This contract
includes the following Special Item Numbers (SINs):
874-1 STRATEGIC PLANNING FOR TECHNOLOGY PROGRAMS
AND ACTIVITIES: Services required under this SIN involve the
definition and interpretation of high-level organizational engineering
performance requirements such as projects, systems, missions, etc.,
and the objectives and approaches to their achievement. Typical associated
tasks include, but are not limited to an analysis of mission, program
goals and objectives, requirements analysis, organizational performance
assessment, special studies and analysis, training, privatization and
outsourcing.
874-3 SYSTEM DESIGN, ENGINEERING AND INTEGRATION:
Services required under this SIN involve the translation of a system
(or subsystem, program, project, activity) concept into a preliminary
and detailed design (engineering plans and specifications), performing
risk identification/analysis/mitigation, traceability, and then integrating
the various components to produce a working prototype or model of the
system.
874-4 TEST AND EVALUATION: Services
required under this SIN involve the application of various techniques
demonstrating that a prototype system (subsystem, program, project or
activity) performs in accordance with the objectives outlined in the
original design. Typical associated tasks include, but are not limited
testing of a prototype and first article(s) testing, environmental testing,
independent verification and validation, reverse engineering, simulation
and modeling (to test the feasibility of a concept), system safety,
quality assurance, physical testing of the product or system, training,
privatization and outsourcing.
874-5 INTEGRATED LOGISTICS SUPPORT:
Services required under this SIN involves the analysis, planning and
detailed design of all engineering specific logistics support including
material goods, personnel, and operational maintenance and repair of
systems throughout their life cycles. Typical associated tasks include,
but are not limited to ergonomic/human performance analysis, feasibility
analysis, logistics planning, requirements determination, policy standards/procedures
development, long-term reliability and maintainability, training, privatization
